Unstoppable
A short prose poem connecting the dancing aurora borealis to radiating self-dedication.

When I decide to focus on something, I go all in.
My dedication is like the dancing aurora borealis
on an inky midnight sky.
I first saw it radiating within me eight years ago,
when I went back to college after failing out.
It was like I was
unstoppable.
Nothing was going to get in my way of succeeding —
and nothing did.
Yet it’s almost too good to be true.
Surreal.
I know it exists because I’ve seen it,
and others talk about it.
But I still yearn up at the stars above
and wonder if that light
could possibly be real.
Every word I share here comes from the depths of my heart, and I hope a few have found their way to yours. ❤️

This: “But I still yearn up at the stars above
and wonder if that light
could possibly be real.” I felt that. Lovely.
I can be unstoppable too if I never start!
Jk 😂
