Such a lovely way of writing! Let’s be honest: even people who are into “being alone” need someone to connect with, from time to time. It’s a human nature.
Beautifully written...I could literally taste that pie. :) Not many people admit the feeling of enjoying time alone like this. There’s something about solidarity that reveals who we really are.
I love this! Your story is such a beautiful reminder that community and connection bring richness to life in ways solitude alone cannot. Thank you for sharing your journey and inspiring others to embrace both their gifts and the people around them.
I also love alone time, my spouse and my son are extroverts, my daughter is a mix of both introvert and extrovert but more extrovert, so that's always a struggle for them to understand. 😅
Btw, the first image is precious. Such a cutie pie, pun intended. 🤭♥️
Loved this look into your life and love the baked goods idea. When I read about you thinking you wanted to live alone, I realized that what you wanted and what I absolutely love is some "me time". I really like those times when I'm alone with my thoughts, walking int the pasture of our countryside home, or just playing with the dog.
Rhonda, thank you so much for visiting here! I love hearing of your own alone time favorites. I appreciate you taking the time to read and so glad it resonates in some way!
And you are right, even those who like to be alone need people. Sadly not all of them realize it, but maybe if they read your words they'll come to see it.
Okay, correction, I definitely had not read this!!! But I’m so glad I just got to!! How beautiful ❤️❤️❤️ - your story and your town. Couldn’t help but think of Gilmore Girls while I was reading it. I also LOVE to be alone, but understand the importance of community. I’ve written about it too, and I think that was where we first connected here, if I remember correctly.
You write beautifully and I loved hearing about your baking and community-building! 🥰🥰🥰
we live out our most authentic selves with openness to others, our gifts begin to naturally pour out to the world. And together, our gifts can support one another, creating more joy than we’d ever be able to achieve alone.
Omg! This sounds spectacular, exactly what I’ve been craving / wanting to create. Lovely, organic, intentional food + community + music & fun?! The only thing I want to add to it is a live petting farm/animal sanctuary where I rescue abandoned, abused, and neglected animals, bring them back to health and adopt them out OR stay with me on the farm forever if that’s what’s in the cards. Beautiful, wonderful community & business you’ve created. 💖
What an amazing post. I want to go to a pizza farm so badly now!
Whether an introvert or extrovert, community is a fundamental need for humanity. You hit the nail on the head, telling a story that was as true to your experience as it was relatable to anyone else. Reading this made me grateful for the community I have in my life, and I’m smiling now!
Hi, Caroline! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. And thank you for your kind feedback. 💕 It certainly has been rewarding in all the ways that actually matter!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful community, Hannah! I love the idea of a Pizza Farm! Congratulations on launching 'Baking with Hart'. There's a lovely warmth to your words that makes it easy to imagine the soulful gatherings each week. I can see summer evenings with kids catching fireflies, BBQs and above all, people checking in on people.
Between my words are notes of envy as well as blessings. I can imagine community meal trains for those in need and people doing odd jobs for those who are less able. These are the spontaneous acts of kindness and community that I hope we can all have a hand in, nurturing and rekindling one small act at a time.
Your posts are such a beautiful look at the "good life" of old that so many people have lost touch with 💪 Family, friends, community, nature and the amazing things that life has to offer that we so often take for granted in our busy lives 💯 THANK YOU

Thank you, Ana! Means a lot. And yes, you got it.
Definitely

They say if you do what you love, you’ll never work another day in your life again. Good luck
Thanks, Mark. I love baking, but writing is what I really love. 💗

Thank you, Anthony!! You're spot on. We need that solitude to learn ourselves.

Just highlighting this part
