His Glory

God made me for His glory — now I know

I question how I could ever be free.
I may cuss, curse, wish I could die.
Yet my sins wash away like a stream.
God made me for His glory and not mine.

I may never make the rising list.
You’ll never see me on your screen.
But that doesn’t mean I don’t exist.
God made me for His glory — not for you, not for me.

I may chase happiness.
Search “how to be less alone?”
And all I find is hollow, money-filled bliss.
God made me for His glory, not my own.
